The poles are lightweight which is their best feat Recommended:Yes

This product came with cracked plastic pieces that allow the telescoping and the snow basked came off the second time we used these. I'm not sure if the basket broke or unscrewed but we were not able to locate it. The poles are lightweight which is their best feature.
UPDATED:
I originally gave these 1 star due to no response from the owner but since she has contacted me and has made everything correct. She genuinely cares about her customers and was very helpful. I would definitely recommend anyone to buy these poles especially when the company stands behind them so well. Thank you Lauren!!

Preliminary experience great. Recommended:Yes

With only one moderate snow of note, the review is of a limited experience. Nonetheless, the performance has been at least as good as that of Komperdell and Leki Trekking Poles that I have used. The fixation system for the Nordic poles is adjustable, stable and has robust function. My experience with Komperdell has noted some loss of hold in one pole and need to reinforce this juncture with loss of the telescoping feature. The particular Leki poles had one partially lose its rotational hold with subsequent flexion failure at one joint that currently requires repair-should I decide this to even be worthwhile. I would hesitate to say that I have as much time using these as I would like for this review, but see little likelihood of any better-experienced review until next Winter. With the incomplete nature of my experience, I caution those reading to seek confirmation by others.

I love these poles Recommended:Yes

I love these poles. I have just reached the age where hiking poles become necessary (not just an option). These are lightweight... and three different pole tips to choose from. Already lots of comments from fellow backpackers.

While it seems kind of weird to say this about spo Recommended:Yes

While it seems kind of weird to say this about sporting equipment, these are really pretty poles. They just look and feel really elegant-and so light! They are also ridiculously easy to telescope up and down (takes about 1 second). Once you get the tension right, you just snap and go, they stay locked throughout your whole walk. I like that they come with the big fat stability tips, those are my favorite for walking. If the fatties are not your thing, you can easily remove them and just use the tungsten tips.
